Compatible with most 2.4x DVD+R burners, each disc holds 8.5 GB of digital video, music, photos, or other file types. That's enough for approximately four hours of video playback when recorded in SP mode or up to 12 hours in EP mode, making the discs an ideal choice for long-length programming such as sporting events or epic films. They can also store around 18 hours of CD-quality audio or 800,000-plus office documents, depending on the size of the files. Memorex uses high-end organic dye when making the DVD+R discs, ensuring high-quality recording and playback. The company also covers the discs with a one-year warranty against defects.
