Speedy card; speedy snap April 14, 2010 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This card is rather fast. Worked amazingly on my Nikon D60 SLR but sadly broke about 10 months after buying it. I used it constantly and I guess the plastic couldn't handle the use. I small piece of the card snapped off. It was a piece next to the metal connectors. The piece broke inside my SLR camera which got jammed and didn't allow any other card to be inserted after. This card cost me a very expensive repair bill for my camera.
I would recommend buying this card ONLY if you won't be taking it in and out of your camera a lot. Or if you're not a power user.
If you are, buy Hoodman memory cards.
I'm not a professional photographer but an advanced-amateur. And I really do recommend buying a hoodman if you want true quality.
Great ptroduct that comes with Card Reader December 30, 2009 I bought the 4 gig Lexar Professional one week ago as I needed extra reliable SDHC for my Canon 500D. It came in a retail package with small card reader inside and two small brouchors, one for the warranty and the other contains a link to a website in order to download two free softwares one of them is the Corel and th eother is a photo recovery software together with the serial numbers.
I tested it many times with Video recording in both 1080 and 720 and both worked very well indeed. I also tested the card reader which worked smoothly in my HP pavilion (Though included a built in card reader).
I have also 8 gig Sandisk Extreme III which i use mainly for video recording with my excellent Canon 500D and I found no difference in terms of quality and speed.
In conclusion, this product is very reliable with Canon DSLR 500D. Its speed is excellent and will secure you a nice video and still shots. In addition, it comes with a nice and small card reader and two nice to have free softwares.
Note: I bought this product bundled with card reader and two free softwares from a retail store not from amazon.
Great December 7, 2009 This product serves its purpose quite well for my use. I have it in my rebel XSi. Plenty big enough and plenty fast enough for rapid shooting in jpeg mode. It lags after a couple shots in raw mode, but that is expected. Card is very reliable thus far, have had no issues. I have taken about 1000 pictures with it and have zero complaints. I would buy again.
Great Card May 14, 2009 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have a 12MP camera that I usually shoot at the highest quality jpg setting. The 4GB card has more than enough storage space (800+ pics). I'm impressed with the read/write speed as well. No issues/complaints.
